Ford V8 DeLuxe coupe is another great car of gone past. Why 1940? This yeas were made the most prettiest DeLuxes ever with minimalism on the one hand and great design on the other. Just look at her eyes – sealed-beam headlights!

The 1940 Ford was one of the first streamlined cars from Ford.

A high flat-topped hood dominated the front look of the 1940 model, as the grille spread out to reach the fenders to differentiate the Deluxe line and the headlights were pushed wider still.

1940 was the last year of the 1937 design and its smaller V8 engine (with a straight-six engine to be reintroduced the following year). The eight cylinder 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe has L-head 221 cubic inch 90 horsepower V-8 engine.

Btw, 1939 was not differ much from 1940 model. Only headlights and fron grille design was a little bit different. Major changes in 1940 were on the front end along with a new interior and dashboard. Look.
